Description
Warren Durrett playing piano with a Hammond Solovox attachment at LaSalle Hotel in Kansas City, Mo. Also playing, to the left of Durrett: Bob Wells (drums), John Brentari (bass), and Jimmy Van Asdell (trumpet/leader). There are short dividing walls between the performance area and small square tables with chairs. At the bottom of the photo, an unidentified white woman is seated at one of the tables, with money, glasses, and an ashtray resting on the table. Curtains and window blinds hang on the wall behind the band, and there are two microphones in front of the band.
