Description
Ida McBeth closes her eyes and lifts her head as she sits on a tall stool and sings into a microphone she holds with her right hand. She expressively holds the fingers of her left hand up to the sky. Claude "Fiddler" Williams sits and looks down at the fiddle he is playing to accompany Ida. They are in a tent without sides. The date, "9 15 '01," is imprinted by the camera on the bottom right-hand corner of the photograph.
