An unidentified African American male jazz singer holds the microphone to his mouth with his right hand inside a festival tent with open sides. The jazz singer's body mostly obscures Eddie Saunders, saxophone, and Claude "Fiddler" Williams, fiddle. He wears an American Jazz Museum sweatshirt. The date, "9 15 '01," is imprinted by the camera on the bottom right-hand corner of the photograph.
