Description
A studio portrait of an unidentified African American woman looking up and toward her right shoulder with a decorative hair pin in the back of her hair. She wears an elaborate jacket with wide lapels and puffed sleeves over a high-collared blouse with a sword pin attached to the collar. Below the photograph on the paperboard is printed in red ink, "Van Doran, corner 4th & Main St., White Cloud, Kas."
