Description

A studio portrait of G.H. Brooks wearing a bowler hat tipped to the right, a bow tie, an overcoat held open on the right by his hand in the pocket of his pants, a buttoned vest with a watch chain spanning the front and a suit jacket. He holds a cigar in his left hand. The color that forms the edging on the photograph is sculpted.

Note

No date; likely between 1918 and 1924, Picture postcard. Handwritten on back, "G. H. Brooks, 418 No 2nd, bust, H. Black, E. D. Brown, O. coat and tie black, pants L. grey. Mustache black." AZO is printed around the stamp box and four triangles are in the corners of the stamp box; two triangles facing up; two triangles facing down.
