Woman kicking off the Hispanic Family in the year 2000: Parents in Action conference

A Mexican American woman, likely the hostess of the event, stands in the front of the room in the center of the panelists' tables speaking into a microphone during the Hispanic Family in the Year 2000: Parents in Action conference. The panelists, one Cuban American woman, a Mexican American man, three Mexican American women, and one white man, are seated behind her. A banner on the wall behind all of them reads in English and in Spanish, "Hispanic Family in the year 2000: Parents in Action conference."
