Barbara Muro, a Mexican American woman, reads from a tab in her right hand as she holds a red and green woven basket with her left hand as she stands at a podium. Bea Marie Mejia, also a Mexican American woman, stands in front a stage holding a wrapped present at an unidentified MANA de Kansas City event. A Mexican American boy stands between them. A banner hanging behind them on the stage curtain reads, "MANA de Kansas City. Hispanic Women Creating a Better Future."
