Seven white men help line up the Rockefeller Center's 1953 choice for a Christmas tree on a logging truck to be loaded for transport. The truck is provided by Fanwood Tie & Timber Co., Harwood Lumber, Fanwood, N.J. Tel. 2-8214 .

Note

Handwritten on back"#7 Trunk first, the tree is carefully loaded on a 50-foot logging truck. Because of the tree's width, even with its big bottom branches bound to the trunk, it was necessary to raise it 3 feet on cradles above the truck's platforms to prevent the branches from scraping the ground."
