DeLong star ruby

Description
A right hand (white male) holds a DeLong Star Ruby between the thumb and index finger to show the star that the reflection of light causes at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, New York.

No date; likely 1953Stamped on back"WATCH YOUR CREDIT LINE. Please credit photograph to the AMERICAN MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY NEW YORK." Handwritten on back, "De Long Ruby." Sections of the star on the ruby have been damaged on the photograph with a writing utensil.
