Description
A view of the Galata Tower in Istanbul, Turkey, from down a lane that is being used by many men, women and children. Buildings line each side of the street. The tower was used as a fire lookout tower. Dogs sleep in the street in the front, left of the photograph. Printed in handwritten white ink on the bottom corners of the photograph, "186. Tour de Galata. Sebah & Joaillier."
