Two steam ferries pass each other on the Nærøydalselvi fjord, near Gudvangen, Norway. The shoreline is in the foreground of the photograph. The fjord runs between steep mountains on both sides. Printed in white ink on the bottom, left-hand corner of the photograph, "Gudvangen. 12415. J.V."
