Description
A couple of guides and a few men in different groups walk about the ruins of the civic forum in Pompeii, Italy. The open city center was surrounded by columns, gateways, and buildings that are all in different states of disrepair. Printed in the margin in the left-hand corner below the photograph, "1201 Foro civile (Pompei)."
