KMBC building, Program Department (Volunteer Special Services) office. Large room with several wooden desks, typewriters, phones, filing cabinets, and ashtrays. Several women working. Linoleum floor. Fluorescent lighting. TWA and Greyhound Calendars on walls and desk set to April 1951. Door in middle of far wall reads Volunteer Special Services from outside. Door on left side of far wall leads to wood paneled room with leather arm chair.
