Description
Abbotsford House, a Gothic-style home in Galashiels, Scotland, viewed from the River Tweed. A skiff sets on the rocky shore of the river closest to the camera in the bottom center of the photograph. A forested hill rises behind the house. Printed in white ink on the bottom center of the photograph, "Abbotsford, from the Tweed. 78. J.V."
