Description
Pilgrimage group at an unidentified location in Sri Lanka [then Ceylon]. Part of the group sit on the ground, and benches, or stand in rows outside a building. Others look at the camera from the open windows and doors of the building. Two urns sit on the ground in front of the group. Many are smoking cigars. Embossed in the lower left -hand corner, "Apothecaries Co Ltd, Photographers, Colombo, Ceylon."
