Description
A panorama photograph of Kandy, Sri Lanka [then Ceylon] scans the roofs and busy streets of Kandy, the mountains surrounding the city, and the Mahaweli Ganga [river] that runs along the right side of the photograph. Printed in white ink on the bottom left-hand corner of the photograph, "Kandy, Ceylon. Scowen & Co."
