Woody Herman donates to Youthbuilders

Newbold Morris, former president of the New York City Council and official of Youthbuilders Inc, is seen here accepting a check for $2,017 from Woody Herman on behalf of Youthbuilders. Woody presented the organization with 50% of the profits of his Carnegie Hall concert. Youthbuilders will use the money to promote racial friendship in the high schools throughout the United States.
