The Capitol Jazzmen posed for a group photo. In the back row are Artie Shapiro standing and leaning against a double bass, Joe Sullivan wearing a black tie and looking down, Jack Teagarden holding a trombone and smiling while looking forward, and Dave Matthews, holding a saxophone and looking to the side. In the front row are Jimmie Noone, seated and holding a clarinet on his lap, Billy May, holding a trumpet and looking to the side while smiling, Zutty Singleton, holding drumsticks and laughing while looking forward, and Dave Barbour, seated and holding a guitar on his lap.
