The Lesbian and Gay Community Center of Kansas City (LGCCKC) was organized in 1993 and lasted through 2010. The Collection features a wide range of community activities, including Pride Festivals, events at Phoenix Books, and Out in Westport, an annual fall festival sponsored by the Center.

LGCCKC OutSource Scrapbook

The Lesbian and Gay Community Center of Kansas City (LGCCKC) scrapbook was gifted to the LaBudde Special Collections in February 2010 by Dan Melton, former Treasurer and Development Officer of the organization. The larger LGCCKC collection contains a great deal of documentation related the early history of the Center, including Board minutes, Friends of the Community Center minutes, and a Board Notebook. Along with GLAMA, this collection is vital to preserving the queer history of Kansas City.
