No date; likely between 1934 and 1937, A professional photograph of the Canidrome ballroom by "Ahjong Shanghai", mounted on a photo album page, with a handwritten caption, "Canidrome Ballroom and Band, Shanghai". There is the name "Mort Ruby" written in pen on the photo with an arrow pointing to a man in the photo, Mort Ruby, born 1903, managed musicians such as Charlie Barnet, Spike Jones, and Nat King Cole.
