Description
View from above of a large crowd gathered on Petticoat Lane for the auctioning off of the Grand Champion Steer of the American Royal to be given to Children's Mercy Hospital. People and the steer, Boxer, are on a straw covered flatbed truck with ambulances and other vehicles parked to one side. Large buildings are all around and signs for Harzfeld's and Macy's can be seen. Attendees are overwhelmingly white.
