A diagram of the orchestra's arrangement is on the blackboard on the right wall next to the window. A white female teacher is at the front of the room and one child is raising her hand to answer a question.

No date; likely 1940s, Handwritten note on verso: Prokofiev's "Symphonic tale for children" called "Peter & the Wolf", was written to teach children to recognize different instruments in an orchestra. Leo Stokowski (con.) Basil Rathbone (narrator). Gelatin silver print.
