Unidentified older white woman with hostess ribbon and name tag standing next to a large Mission-style grandfather clock with the name Mary Elizabeth Birney engraved into wood at top and the sentence "Thy God hath not forgot thee and when He sees it's best; will lead thee into sunshine, will give thee hours of rest" below the clock face.

Quote is from a Lutheran hymn "Light in Darkness". Gelatin silver print.
