Description
Nurses and doctors (all white) interacting with patients (African American and white) on the roof garden at Children's Mercy Hospital. Writing on the photograph indicates the patients are receiving heliotherapy. A sign in the back indicates facilities are provided by the Maywood club. Hospital beds are spread along the garden terrace in the sun. Nurses and physicians are caring for some of the children in beds.
